One day, I awoke, tired of my posts from my other blog which were mostly in depth discussions with myself about how much I hate myself.
Jealous of other bloggers who found interesting things to write about, me and Elsa created Ingenue, a cute little writing blog where we write about interesting shit that happens to us, aside from sitting in bed eating, which is a regular occurrence.
I spend a lot of time complaining, whining, and wishing I was doing something more productive with my time. I hope to be free of confined spaces, both physically and metaphorically.
I never had restrictions on how much lollies I ate when I was a child, causing the multifaceted development of both intense hyperactivity and crippling lethargy, and also the 9 fillings I had to undergo- and still counting. I often mistake myself for possessing some form of ADD or insanity.
Obviously I don't, and with that I can unwillingly call myself a member of the group of people who label themselves "weird" or "random" as if it's a bad thing even though their proud of it.
I don't like to be embarrassed, I think the worst feeling to feel is embarrassment. My most commonly used phrase of insight and wisdom is that people who take themselves seriously experience embarrassment a lot more than people who constantly embarrass themselves - who are immune to the feeling of red face/sweaty palms/gianormous lump in throat.
But that in turn means that when a person who doesn't take themselves seriously genuinely gets embarrassed - it. is. the. worst. feeling. ever.
My Dad often lectures me about what I put on the internet and how one day I'll look back on everything I've posted and weep with embarrassment. But I don't know, even though I feel sick at the thought of the videos I used to make of me singing when I was 12, I'd still happily post them on Facebook for all to see.
That's a total lie,
But maybe one day all the things I write will make me smile instead of vomit and I'll take that chance because right now, I'm bored.
